Meet Dr. George A. Mighion, DDS
Welcome to the practice of Dr. George A. Mighion! Since 1996, Dr. Mighion has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our community.
Originally from Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Dr. Mighion moved to South Bend in 1979 after the passing of his father. He graduated from Marian High School in 1988 and pursued his passion for biology at Indiana University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in American Military History in 1992.
After completing his dental degree at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Mighion returned to South Bend, bringing his expertise and compassion to the area. In 2003, he expanded his practice by relocating to Mishawaka, allowing him to serve even more patients with personalized care.

Focused on Pushing the Industry Forward
Dr. George uses a modern holistic approach to his dentistry. He believes in looking at how one’s dental health may be affecting their overall health and well-being. Dr. George has trained with some of the most recognized dentists in the world such as the prestigious Hornbook Group for cosmetic dentistry and The New York Implant Institute for dental implants. Additionally, he was a participant in the Mini Residency for Sleep and Breathing under Dr. Olomos, and was trained in Oral Conscious Sedation by DOCS and cosmetic braces thru Six Month Smiles.
Dr. George belongs to the American Dental Association (ADA), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), North Central Dental Society (NCDS), and the Mishawka Dental Association (MDS). He is a member to these professional groups: Doctors of Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS), American Academy of Sleep Medicine(AASOM), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOC).
Dr. George was a clinical instructor at the IUSB Hygiene School from 1996 to 1998. He also has served as the secretary of the NCDS and the past president of the MDS. He currently is the treasure for the NCDS and also serves on the local peer review committee. Dr. George regularly volunteers at Sister Maura Brannick Health Center and participates in the Donated Dental Program. Additionally, Dr. George has been a long time active member of the Granger Sunrise Rotary Club and Mishawaka Business Association.
While working as an associate, Dr. George met Christine, who was practicing dental hygiene at that time. They wed in 2001 and have two children, Cheyenne and Athan. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family especially at the lake where they enjoy water sports. He also enjoys playing racquetball, golf, and softball, target shooting, reading, but his true passion outside the dental office is traveling and scuba diving. He is an avid Detroit Tiger, Detroit Lion, IU, and University of Michigan football fan.
Meet Dr. Mackenzie Williams, DDS
We’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Mackenzie Williams, who brings her passion and expertise in dentistry to our community. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Williams earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville before continuing her education at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Williams is passionate about dentistry, drawn to the unique blend of scientific principles and artistic techniques that create beautiful, healthy smiles. She is committed to lifelong learning and is always eager to explore new technologies and treatments that enhance your dental experience and optimize your oral health.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Williams loves to travel, try new restaurants, and curl up with a good book. Now calling the Michiana area home, she’s excited to explore everything our vibrant community has to offer.
